As an intermediary between private buyers and sellers, we take every measure to ensure listings are properly vetted. While most purchases are final, returns are accepted under limited and qualifying circumstances. All requests are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Can I return a watch I purchased through MonarchsBay?
Returns are accepted only under specific circumstances—such as misrepresentation or discrepancy from the listing. Each case is handled individually with care. If you believe your purchase qualifies, you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving the item.
What qualifies as a valid reason for return?
We may approve a return request if:
The watch received is significantly different from the listing description
There is undisclosed damage, wear, or mechanical fault
The item raises concerns regarding authenticity
There was a material listing error or incorrect fulfillment
What condition must the watch be in for return?
Watches must be returned in the same condition as received, with no signs of wear beyond what was disclosed. All original items (box, papers, tags, etc.) must be included. If the watch was listed as unworn, it must be returned unworn and unaltered.
How do I request a return?
Contact MonarchsBay support within 48 hours of delivery
Include a detailed explanation and relevant photos
Our team will review and respond with next steps
If approved, return instructions will be provided
When will I receive my refund?
Approved refunds are processed after the watch is returned, inspected, and verified. Refunds are typically issued within 2–7 business days to the original method of payment. Shipping fees may not be refundable.
Do you offer exchanges?
Due to the nature of the luxury watch market, we do not offer direct exchanges. If a return is approved, you are welcome to use your refund or store credit toward a different timepiece.
Can a watch I sold be returned to me?
Yes—if a buyer presents a valid, verified issue such as misrepresentation, undisclosed damage, or authenticity concerns, MonarchsBay may request the watch be returned to the seller. In such cases, we act as a neutral party to protect all parties fairly.
What are my responsibilities as a seller?
As a seller, you must:
Accurately describe your watch
Disclose visible wear, modifications, or service history
Ensure authenticity of the timepiece and supporting documents
Failure to meet these requirements may result in a return or listing removal.
Each return request is evaluated carefully and fairly
MonarchsBay’s role is to mediate and protect the integrity of the transaction
Sellers and buyers are encouraged to use our appraisal centers to verify condition and avoid disputes
Appraisal centers are for inspections and evaluations only—not for retail activity or in-person transactions
